A Championship Course Built for Everyone

Quail Ridge Golf Club was created with a clear vision: to build a great golf course with classic lines that would be playable for golfers of all skill levels. That vision came to life through the partnership of Randy Erskine, a five-time Michigan Open Champion and former PGA Tour player, renowned Michigan golf course architect Raymond Hearn, and 15 additional investors.

Today, Quail Ridge is an 18-hole championship course celebrated for its natural setting, lush greenery, generous landing areas, and approachable design. Large trees, rolling terrain, bunkers, and water come into play throughout the course, while multiple tee options and minimal forced carries help make every round enjoyable.

Course History

The Story of Quail Ridge

Quail Ridge Golf Club was founded when Randy Erskine partnered with architect Raymond Hearn and a group of investors to bring a distinctive golf experience to Western Michigan. Their goal was simple but ambitious: create a course with timeless design principles, beautiful natural surroundings, and a layout that golfers of every level could enjoy.

Since opening in 1998, Quail Ridge has matured into one of the area's most inviting public golf experiences. The course blends generous fairways and greens with thoughtful challenges from trees, hills, water, and bunkers, giving players a round that is both friendly and rewarding.
